End of Year SMARTR Outcome

LANGUAGE ARTS

Increase the pass rate for SWDs in Language Arts as measured by the SOL from 72% to 75%.

Strategy 1                                                                           

MTSS and Resource Team  will monitor school-wide data, identify learning needs and enrichment opportunities of grade levels, and provide support to teachers in analyzing the data and implementing data-driven interventions and enrichment

Strategy 2

Provide opportunities for collaboration and coaching support from Special Education staff and Coaches around strategies and scaffolds to support SWDs

Strategy 3

Utilize the workshop model to differentiate instruction and support active learners

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

AAP Curriculum

Increase the number of students given the opportunity to access AAP curriculum from 21% of classrooms to 97%  of classrooms utilizing at least one AAP curriculum unit.

Strategy 1                                                                           

Coaches will provide support to teachers in analyzing classroom data to identify enrichment opportunities and scaffolds in order to support all students in accessing the AAP curriculum.

Strategy 2

Engage in professional development and coaching opportunities centered around grade-level and subject appropriate AAP curriculum units and training.

SCIENCE

Decrease achievement gap in science between Economically Disadvantaged Students and non-Economically Disadvantaged students from a 38% gap to a 20% gap.

Increase access to rigorous Science content and resources

Strategy 2

Provide professional development opportunities to teachers to deepen science content understanding.
